The fishing grounds surrounding Port Alexander include inside protected waters as well as the open ocean and host an amazing variety of fish including, king salmon, silver salmon, halibut, black bass, lingcod and yelloweye. Traverse these abundant fishing grounds aboard the F/V Moontrapper, a 33 ft. fiberglass vessel with spacious decks, comfortable cabin and marine head. All poles, fishing gear and safety equipment are provided, however favorite personal fishing tackle is welcome. Chatham Strait Charters is a license vendor for Alaska Fish and Game and sport fishing licenses are available. Your fish are processed, vacuum packed and frozen at the end of each day.
